Dear Family in Christ,
The Liturgical Dance Ministry of St. Mary A.M.E. Zion Church invite you to join us for our 4th annual day on November 14, 2009. We will once again celebrate our day in the form of a one-day dance conference.
Our theme is Trust In His Word & Wait On His Promise. Prov 3:5-6, Ps 9:9-10
We will have workshops that cover a variety of topics to help equip those that minister to God’s people such as prophetic worship, the purification process, and we will even learn a piece of choreography to minister at the evening service!
The facilitator for the day will be Reverend Eyesha K. Marable, founding director of the National Liturgical Dance Network.
The location for this event will be the Harrison Hale Community Center, 576 Granny Road, Medford, NY. Workshops begin at 9am (breakfast at 8am) and we will continue throughout the day finishing with our 5:30pm evening worship service. The evening service will be held at St. Mary A.M.E. Zion Church at 537 Granny Road, Medford, NY
The cost for the conference is $25 per person and includes breakfast, lunch, dinner, and all workshop materials. (The 5:30pm worship service is free and open to all)
We encourage you to register early, as space is limited. Please make checks payable to:
St. Mary A.M.E. Zion Church and mail to Deirdre Johnson, 33 Sundown Drive, Bellport, NY 11713. We are asking that registrations be submitted by November 1st so that we may adequately prepare the meals and workshop materials.
